Bird initially released this song as an outro on his previous EP 'Bloom' but, after getting some great feedback on the record, decided it couldn't just be the leftovers of an EP but that he needed to write the whole song.

This version feels cozy and intimate but also has some dark instrumentation that includes some beautifully haunting violin parts, echoing the tension in the lyrics. The song ends with a flurry of emotion with ascending vocals stacked on top of each other.
